Last updated: June 21, 2026
Radio Javan (as applicable, "RJ," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use Radio Javan websites, mobile apps, artist tools, advertising tools, subscriptions, events, uploads, communications, and other products or services that link to this policy (collectively, the "Service").
This policy is written to explain our data practices by category. It gives examples, but it does not list every screen, setting, feature, or technical signal used to operate the Service.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Account and contact information. When you create an account, sign in, subscribe, contact us, join an artist team, create a business profile, or use similar features, we may collect information such as your name, email address, username, password, phone number, profile photo, account settings, role, access level, and related account details.
Content and files you provide. We collect content you submit or choose to make available through the Service, such as comments, playlists, profile information, artist or business information, music submissions, audio, artwork, videos, photos, lyrics, credits, release details, advertising materials, support messages, and other files or text. Files and content may include related technical information such as filenames, size, format, upload status, review status, timestamps, and similar metadata.
Purchases, subscriptions, billing, and business information. If you buy tickets, subscribe, redeem an offer, advertise, or use business-facing features, we may collect transaction details, plan or offer information, billing name, billing address, business name, business email, website, country, currency, payment status, invoice details, and similar commercial information. Payment card details are handled by payment processors, and we generally do not store full card numbers ourselves.
Usage, device, and log information. We collect information about how the Service is used, including app and website activity, searches, plays, downloads, likes, follows, playlist activity, ad impressions and clicks, pages or screens viewed, referring pages, dates and times, IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, app version, device identifiers, push notification identifiers, session information, crash or diagnostic information, and similar technical data.
Location information. We may collect or infer location information from your IP address, device settings, information you provide, or location permissions you grant. Depending on how you use the Service and your settings, this may include country, region, city, or approximate coordinates. If a feature asks for precise location, we collect precise coordinates only when you allow it.
Information from partners and third parties. We may receive information from payment processors, app stores, social login providers, analytics providers, advertising partners, fraud and security providers, artist or business representatives, rights holders, event partners, and other service providers or partners.
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use information to provide, maintain, personalize, protect, and improve the Service. This includes using information to:
- create, authenticate, and manage accounts;
- deliver music, videos, playlists, recommendations, search results, events, subscriptions, ads, uploads, artist tools, and similar features;
- process payments, subscriptions, tickets, invoices, offers, refunds, and related customer support;
- review, moderate, format, publish, reject, remove, or troubleshoot content, submissions, ads, and user activity;
- send service messages, account notices, receipts, security alerts, support responses, marketing messages, and push or email notifications;
- understand audience activity, improve content discovery, measure performance, build reports, and analyze how the Service is used;
- personalize content, ads, promotions, recommendations, and user experience;
- detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, spam, security issues, rights violations, technical problems, and policy violations;
- comply with law, enforce our terms, protect users, protect RJ, and exercise or defend legal rights.
3. COOKIES, ADS, ANALYTICS, AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
We and our partners may use cookies, pixels, SDKs, local storage, server logs, advertising identifiers, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember settings, operate the Service, understand usage, measure emails and ads, prevent abuse, and personalize or improve content and advertising.
You can control cookies and similar technologies through your browser, device settings, app permissions, and the choices offered by certain advertising or analytics partners. Some parts of the Service may not work properly if cookies or device permissions are disabled.
4. LOCATION INFORMATION
We may use general location information to show relevant content, events, ads, offers, language or regional experiences, artist audience insights, security signals, and analytics. If we collect precise location, we use it for the feature you enabled, safety, support, or other purposes explained when you give permission. We may also use location information to help advertisers and partners understand campaign performance in an aggregated or limited way.
You can usually control precise location access through your device settings. If precise location is not available, we may still estimate general location from IP address or other non-precise signals.
5. USER CONTENT AND PUBLIC AREAS
Some parts of the Service let you submit, upload, publish, or share content. Content you make public, or content that is published after review, may be visible to other users and may be indexed, copied, shared, or saved by others. Please do not include private information in public content unless you want it to be public.
When you submit content for review, release, upload, artist management, advertising, or similar purposes, RJ and people working with RJ may review and process that content to operate the Service, verify rights, provide support, enforce policies, and maintain quality and safety.
6. PERSONALIZATION, RECOMMENDATIONS, AND AUTOMATED TOOLS
We may use information such as your activity, preferences, searches, prompts, follows, location, and device signals to personalize the Service, recommend content, create or improve playlists, rank results, detect abuse, and improve features. Some features may use automated systems or service providers to process text, prompts, content, or technical signals so we can provide results, quality checks, safety checks, or support.
Automated tools can be imperfect. Recommendations, search results, generated names, summaries, classifications, and similar outputs may not always be accurate or complete.
7. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
We may share information in the following ways:
- We share information with companies that help us host, store, process, deliver, analyze, secure, support, market, advertise, bill, and improve the Service on our behalf and subject to appropriate restrictions.
- We share information needed to process purchases, subscriptions, tickets, invoices, refunds, offers, and related transactions.
- We share information with app stores, social login providers, and similar services when you choose to use those features.
- We may share content, account, role, business, artist, advertiser, or campaign information with artists, business users, advertisers, rights holders, event partners, team members, or representatives when needed to provide a feature, report performance, verify rights, process support, or manage a relationship. Ad and audience reporting is generally aggregated, limited, or role-appropriate.
- Advertising and analytics services may process limited device, app, ad interaction, and similar information to help deliver, measure, limit, and improve ads and analytics.
- We may share information when we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, enforce our terms, prevent fraud or abuse, protect rights or safety, or investigate security or technical issues.
- We may share information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar business transaction.
- We may share information with your consent or at your direction.
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not manually provide advertisers with lists of individual users, contact information, or other personal information so they can directly market their own products or services to you. Advertising and analytics services may still process limited information through cookies, SDKs, device settings, and similar technologies, and some of that processing may be considered "sharing" or a "sale" under certain privacy laws. See the U.S. State Privacy Notice section below for more information.
8. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide the Service, maintain accounts, process transactions, support users, keep business and legal records, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with law, and protect rights and safety.
Retention periods vary based on the type of information and why we collected it. For example, account information may be kept while your account is active; transaction and subscription records may be kept for accounting, tax, chargeback, and legal reasons; security and abuse records may be kept to protect the Service; and content you submit may remain available if it has been published, shared, licensed, or needs to be retained for rights, safety, or legal reasons.
You can request account deletion from your Profile page or by contacting us at [email protected]. Account deletion may begin with a deactivation period so you can restore your account for a limited time. When we process a deletion request, we may remove, delete, or de-identify account information, but we may keep certain information where allowed or required by law, including information needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, accounting, dispute resolution, rights management, or maintaining the integrity of the Service.
9. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
You can update some account information through your account settings. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in those emails, changing available notification settings, or contacting us. You may still receive service messages such as account, security, transaction, subscription, legal, or support messages.
You can control many device permissions, such as push notifications, location, photos, camera, microphone, and tracking choices, through your device settings. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, know, correct, delete, export, object to, restrict, or opt out of certain processing of your personal information. To make a privacy request, contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding. If you use an authorized agent, we may ask for information showing that the agent has permission to act for you.
10. U.S. STATE PRIVACY NOTICE
If you live in California or another U.S. state with a privacy law that applies to us, this section provides additional information and describes rights that may be available to you under those laws. Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect the following categories of personal information: identifiers; contact information; account information; commercial and transaction information; internet or other electronic network activity; device and app information; geolocation information; audio, visual, or similar content you provide; professional or business information when you use artist, business, or advertising tools; inferences or preferences; and sensitive personal information such as account login information, payment-related information handled with payment processors, or precise geolocation when you allow it.
We collect these categories from you, your device, your use of the Service, service providers, payment processors, app stores, advertising and analytics partners, business partners, artist or advertiser representatives, and other users or partners who interact with the Service. We use and disclose these categories for the purposes described in this policy.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know or confirm whether we process personal information about you; request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information; opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information; appeal a denied privacy request; and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of children under 16. We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not manually provide advertisers with lists of individual users or contact information. Some advertising or analytics services may process limited device, app, ad interaction, cookie, SDK, or similar information in ways that may be considered a sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or similar activity under certain U.S. state privacy laws. You can contact us at [email protected] with "Privacy Opt Out" or "Do Not Sell or Share" in the subject line to submit an opt-out request.
We use sensitive personal information only for purposes allowed by law, such as providing the Service, processing transactions, maintaining security, preventing fraud, verifying information, and complying with law, unless we provide you with additional notice and choice.
11. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
RJ is based in the United States, and we and our service providers may process and store information in the United States and other countries. Privacy laws in those countries may be different from the laws where you live. When required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
12. SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No website, app, network, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and for notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.
13. CHILDREN
The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
14. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice as appropriate.
15. CONTACT US
