Recently the Miss Universe organization was questioned because of the controversial bikini and body paint photoshoot of its contestants. Critics believed the shoot is too revealing and is making the idea of a pageant lean towards the wrong measures like nudity and sexuality.

Miss USA, Rima Fakih who is a Muslim Arab, is on the edge of this controversy even more for her topless painted body which was revealed during the holy month of Ramadan.



Well, apparently all the swimsuits for this shoot were made by Iranian Designer Tala Raassi. Tala received 40 lashes on her 16th birthday for wearing "revealing" clothes in Iran and ever since wanted to become a swimsuit designer because it represented freedom to her.



Women from all around the world will be wearing her designs on Monday August 23, on Miss Universe Pageant. I guess this year's Miss Universe will be a hit for all the Middle Eastern countries.
