The Iranian Basketball Federation and its FIBA Asian champion men's basketball team (Saba Battery) have been invited by the NBA, in cooperation with the U.S. Department of State, to participate in the Rocky Mountain Revue, the Utah Jazz hosted summer league, later this month.

The Iranian national team will play a series of games against NBA teams and the NBA D-League Ambassadors July 15-22 as they prepare for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. The team will also have the opportunity to observe NBA team practices and engage one another in basketball dialogue.
