Shourangiz Mohammadi is one of the pioneers of Persian music produced outside of Iran. Dele Divooneh which reflected a deeper and more passionate side of Shourangiz's voice was released in 1997 and continued to prove her endless versatility in both pop and classical Iranian music. In 2002, Mehrab was released to the world, featuring a wide variety of dance, pop and classical Iranian music, which showcase her brilliant ability to reinvent and take her music to a deeper place within her heart, defining further who she is.

Shourangiz: The Essentials, released in 2008 is a anniversary album which showcases 2 decades worth of her hit songs and Iranian classics. The album includes 15 of her greatest hits through the years, fully re-mastered, and 2 new un-released tracks, one which she performed with her son, pop sensation, Idin.
