Kamran & Hooman Jafari are brothers who grew up in Montreal and Vancouver. Kamran first started in the group Parvaz, which included Kamran, Hengameh, and Fereidoon. They released one album and had a hit song with "Iran, Iran" with the help of Ramin Zamani. In 1998, they joined Shahbal Shabpareh's famous pop group "Black Cats". They released two albums "Cinderalla" and "The Pop Father". Their last album "The Pop Father" was very successful for the group with the hit songs "Rendezvous", "Begoo Mano Kam Dari", and "Aatash".
Less than a year after "The Pop Father" album, Kamran & Hooman decided to leave Black Cats and start their own careers. So far, they've released one album "20", which was released in 2003. It was produced by Ramin Zamani and had lyrics from renowned Iranian poet Maryam Heydarzadeh. Kamran & Hooman have made an effort to bring much more exciting and modern concerts to the Persian music industry. Their big shows are known to have choreographed dancers and pyrotechnics.
