Born in Anaheim, California on March 8, 1984, Idin was strongly influenced by his Persian heritage. He grew up with his mother, Shourangiz, being a Persian singer herself and releasing albums. After musical lessons at an early age, Idin sent a demo of his voice to different music companies, including Cirque du Soleil. This led him with an opportunity to work with Cirque du Soleil, which still influences Idin's music and his concert performances.
In 2003, Idin was given a chance to work with Avang music on his debut Persian album. The result was The Voice which won Iran international recognition out of 26 countries at the Asian International Song Festival, in Goa, India, winning Iran first place with his hit song, "Dooset Daram". Idin then followed up with the much-acclaimed album Hads Bezan in 2006 with that included songs like "Yadam Toro Faramoosh", "Hads Bezan", "Yeckie Nist" and "Iran". He currently lives in California. |
