Earlier this week, Radio Javan celebrated Leila Forouhar's birthday. As I mentioned earlier, Leila was born to a very talented family. Her father, Jahangir Forouhar, was a famous actor in Iran. She followed her father's path and began acting at a very young age. She was one of the few stars who became a successful actor, singer, and model. Soon after moving to the United States in 1988, Leila released one of her most famous songs, 'Del Ey Del'. Her legend continued to grow during the 1990's, as she released a new album almost every year. She remains active as she is currently releasing new music and touring around the world. 

Leila Forouhar has been a cultural icon for decades. Her early success in movies translated in over 40 film appearances. Today, she is widely known for her successful music career. She has released countless hit songs with 'Del Ey Del' being one more popular ones.
