In a most dramatic fashion in what seemed to be for certain another loss for Perspolis they were able to rally their troops and score 3 goals in second half (two of them in 2 minutes) after being behind 2-0 and defeat their arch rivals Esteghlal 3-2 despite being a man short for most of the second half.
